The rider in email is already the wrong version

Advancing always has a latest PDF. It is rarely the one attached to the thread you opened. Forms collect riders, plots and hospitality notes with file upload and a review step, so production looks at one submission instead of five attachments.

Revision history stays with the event. When the plot changes on Thursday, you are not hunting Slack for "final_final".

The travelling party is accreditation, not a side list

Once the advance is in, the same artist team requests passes for the people who are actually coming. Guest list can sit alongside when industry and plus-ones need tickets rather than staff passes.
